I hope you realize you are absolutely, radically, deeply, powerfully dependant on God to give you faith. And this is not of ourselves it is the gift of God." You know that now.

The Bible says that very clearly in Ephesians 2:8-9: "For by grace you have been saved through faith. You have been given the gift that many people, to their sometimes hurt, don't realize: we cannot produce faith. Not everybody is given the privilege of realizing they can't produce their own faith. Well, it may be that the Lord has put you in this situation-that is, withheld from you the kind of faith that you're looking for (saving faith)-in order to make you feel absolutely desperate. I've tried to believe in Jesus for two years but I can't. Information: aguacalientecasinos.I've concluded that I don't have saving faith. I want them to believe in the things they sense and feel around them that they think are odd or remind them of their departed loved ones, to know that that is their loved one’s soul. It doesn’t matter if someone believes in me or mediums. I am the first person to say, “how can someone communicate with someone who has died?” I am not asking people to believe in me. It’s powerful in a different way.Ī: I get it. In a way, the podcast is more healing because they’re listening and they can visualize their own loved ones or their own healing and grieving process. Q: What’s it like having a podcast? How is it different and similar from having a television show?Ī: All of the readings for the podcasts are done over Zoom, so the only downside to that is I can’t lean over and hug the person or hold their hand. If you come to one of my live shows it’s a night of feeling peaceful and safe. “Good Mourning” really validated me because I’ve always said what I do is so much more than connecting people with their departed loved ones. We grieve so many things in our everyday lives, and it doesn’t always have to be from the loss of a loved one. We mourn the loss of an argument, maybe the loss of finances and we grieve youth. The book is about how we mourn every day. Then, after I felt the need to write “Good Mourning,” and it came out during the pandemic. I started off with this book in a way to give people permission to grieve on their own. Yes, we have all of these stages of grief, but we might not go through all of those stages of grief or we might not go through them in the order that they say. How do you have those conversations about grief as a medium?Ī: One of the reasons I wrote “Good Grief” was because what I learned from channeling spirits is that they were constantly encouraging their loved ones to grieve how they wanted to grieve. Q: Your book, “Good Grief” deals with grief. Q: What’s it like to engage face-to-face with people in such an intimate state, like connecting them with loved ones?Ī: Everyone comes to the show with hopes of hearing from their departed loved one, but to be able to see and feel it in person and to experience that healing energy is something incredible. I have such a great support system from my community, my parish and from all my friends and family. I don’t think it’s a common thing for someone to say that they talk to dead people for a living. Can you tell me about my mom?” or someone would just look at me with a little side-eye and go, “Yeah, okay.” For the most part everybody has been encouraging and supporting of my gift. It wasn’t until I was in my 20s that people would be like, “Oh my god, that’s amazing. What was the initial reaction when you would tell people about your gift?Ī: Well, you have to understand that when I was four, I thought it was normal. Q: You mentioned you discovered your ability when you were four years old. I chose to share my medium gift to help people move on after the loss of a loved one.” What I learned from the souls of the departed is that no matter who we lose and how they die, we’re left with these burdens and guilt like, “I should’ve, could’ve and would’ve.” It’s any type of negative emotion, and at the end of the day, those negative emotions prevent us from healing. I struggled with my gifts for many years because I couldn’t understand why I would be blessed with such a gift and who would want to come to see a medium. So for me, it is normal to sense and feel things that nobody else does. I’ve been sensing and feeling the souls of the departed since I was four. I refer to them as the souls of the departed and spirits. A: I have the ability to connect with people that have died.
